2016 Population and Adaptation Genomics Workshop, Turkey
The Population and Adaptation Genomics Workshop will be held between 5 – 7 September 2016 at Hacettepe University, Beytepe Campus, Department of Biology. The “Evolutionary Ecology Research Group” at Hacettepe University and the “Society of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Turkey” will jointly organize the workshop. The workshop will take place right after the close of the 3rd Ecology and Evolutionary Symposium of Turkey taking place between 31 August – 3 September 2016 and will cover theory and practice of population and adaptation genomic analysis using next generation sequencing data.
The workshop is free of charge and we aim to provide free housing and boarding to participants coming from outside of Ankara and free meals (breakfast-lunch-dinner) to all participants at the Hacettepe University Beytepe Dining Hall.
Principle Lecturer: Matteo Fumagalli
